I have had the privilege to work with Bella these past few years as a colleague, coach/mentor and now as a parent of my daughter who is in her 4th grade class. Bella has shown her dedication not only as an educator but she has supported our Red Hill community by spending additional hours working outside of the classroom as a Power Hours instructor and coordinator, working summer school and sponsoring our RHES spelling bee competition. Bella is dedicated to supporting her students with intentional instructional practices, she especially meets the needs of our second language learners. As a bilingual teacher, she is able to connect with our students in a special way and to build relationships. Last year, our 4th grade students made outstanding growth on district and state assessments, in large part due to Bella's instruction and academic success in the classroom.
