Family Night for AES

Big congratulations to Emily Larsen and the amazing team at Avon Elementary School for receiving an EFEC Classroom Grant to support their incredible Family Nights! 🎉
These Family Nights are a shining example of building community and supporting the social-emotional wellness of AES families. 🌟 Over the years, they’ve tackled essential topics like emotional dysregulation, co-regulation strategies, and effective communication skills for parents navigating tough conversations with their kids.
This year, they’re stepping it up with new presentations on technology/social media’s impact on social-emotional health and neurodivergence—all designed to empower families with knowledge and tools to thrive.
And the best part? Dinner and childcare are provided, so everyone can join without stress after a long workday. 🍽️🧸 Way to go, Avon Elementary, for making such a positive difference in our community! 🙌 We are so happy to be part of the solution with this grant!
