Charles Overy

Charles has lived in the Vail Valley since 1987. He founded a technology based business in Minturn that is a frequent stop for school tours. Charles is passionate about improving the fundamentals of technology education in order to give every child an opportunity for future success. He was an Efec founding trustee, was instrumental in the passage of the 3a and 3b bond and mill levy as the campaign technology director, has served as EFEC board vice president, and is currently a member of the governance committee. He has also won first place in Project Funway, once but still hopes for a repeat one day. In addition, he is interested in programs that aid in the identification and advancement of high-ability students. He has two children who attended Edwards Elementary, June Creek Elementary, and ECCA and Battle Mountain High School.

He also serves on the Eagle County Charter Academy (ECCA) technology committee.
