Philip Qualman

Phil is the Superintendent of Eagle County School District, having served in various roles over 21 years, including as a social studies teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal of Battle Mountain High School, and Assistant Superintendent. He became Superintendent in 2019. Under his leadership, the district has launched initiatives such as safety improvements, expansions at Early Learning Centers, workforce housing, and infrastructure upgrades. A strong advocate for education, he is committed to fostering inclusive environments that help students become confident, capable adults.
