Shelly Jarnot

After graduating from Duke University in 1989, Shelly arrived in Vail and worked in marketing for Vail Associates. She returned to Duke to earn an MBA and moved back to Vail to marry her husband, Chris. Shelly worked for East West Resorts as the Director of Sales and Marketing for 13 years before deciding to stay home with her three children. Her strong interest in public education led her to volunteer in school classrooms, on PTA and District Accountability, and as an AVID tutor. She has been with EFEC since the beginning and enjoys participating with a group that shares her passion for education. She is also a board member for Eagle County Schools and Walking Mountains Science Center.
