Tessa Kirchner

Tessa has volunteered for EFEC since 2008, was an elected Eagle County School Board member from 2011 to 2019, and is on the Board of Directors for Great Education Colorado, she also served for several years on the Colorado Association of School Boards (CASB). Tessa’s passion for education is reflected in deep knowledge of local and state education politics. She has coordinated numerous fundraisers for much needed dollars resulting in putting teachers into classrooms. She is adept at and works tirelessly to bring community together for important education related causes and issues. With her husband Steven, Tessa owns and operates a high-end property management company in the Vail Valley. They have three children, a dog, and numerous “adopted” children who love to be included as part of the family and Kirchner spirt! Tessa and Steven also formed a non-profit to bring Nordic skiing to Homestake Peak School, which has been thriving since 2011.
