Congratulations, Hannah Woodson and her Homestake Peak School Art Class, for receiving an EFEC Classroom Grant for bringing clay and clay tools into the classroom! That’s what we call sculpting success!!!
CLASSROOM GRANT NEED: “With my classroom budget being $200 for about 500 students a year, I am really limited to the type of project we can do. Most of my current projects are made up of paper and drawing/coloring utensils. My hope with this grant would be to bring something more hands-on and exciting to the art room! Each grade level would have a different age-appropriate clay project to complete. With clay, there are a lot of different necessary tools. This grant would allow me to not just purchase the clay but the glazes, tools, and appropriate classroom materials to give clay projects for all of my students! How exciting would that be?!” - Hannah
